My room is always a disaster area, my desk too. I have no organizational skills. But for some reason my truck always has to be spotless. It bothers me when my truck is covered in dirt, when my interior is dirty and when my bed is disorganized. Somehow I can live in filth, work in filth, but I have to drive something clean. Is this an auto enthusiast quirk?

It's either a car enthusiast thing or it's a guy thing. I don't have a vehicle but being in my dad's gf's Sonata makes me want to go insane, so much crap everywhere. Yet I have random shit just all over in my room and desk and bookshelf, yet vehicles and vehicle related things must be neat and organized.

I keep the inside spotless, Nothing I don't need and nothing lying around. The outside is a bit of a different story.

Organized, yes, generally.

Spotless, no.

I have a small plethora of tools and useful items in each of my vehicles. But everything is secure, and either in a box, backseat, trunk, or cubbie of some sort.

It drives me nuts seeing people's cars with mail all over the dash, or stuff piled up on the console or floor. If I happen to bump into something that isn't supposed to be there while I'm driving, I fling it to the farthest reaches of my automobile.

Yup, I'm the same way. It's so easy to keep my car clean, just take everything out that you brought in every single time. Room/desk on the other hand are where I keep things so its a little different.

I'm kind of odd as far as organization goes. I really like when my room/desk is cleaned but don't bother to clean it all that often. My truck, it depends on the time of year. Right now it's a mess because it's 10 below outside and I don't have the slightest concern. Garbage goes out, yes, but stuff like extra hoodies and the like stay just in case. During the summer though it stays pretty clean.

My toolbox and workplace are where I really shine. My box is organized to the absolute best of my ability and my tools are nearly spotless. They all have a home and return there at the end of the job/day. And it drives me absolutely insane to work in a messy garage. Which is my biggest issue about where I work, it can be a dump because no one bothers to clean.

I also have a very disorganized room, i fix it, and it cant last more than 2 days before it comes a disaster again. And i always used to have my car spotless, now its dirty from outside, inside theres dust, but still i eat no food inside, so its not like its a mess. I've had some difficult times lately, that have kept me from having energy to keep my car very clean and nice, same with my room. Most recently, I crashed in december 9 because the road suddenly became muddy, it was rainin. And i havent taken it to the shop. Its still driveable. This monday im planning on finally taking it to repair, and make posts and updates of the fix.

Ive always lived in organized chaos. I know where everything is, but I don't have to have everything perfect. The car is winter messy right now and it drives me nuts. I refuse to leave unnecessary crap in the car.
